CAYM trains and supports Christians in developing mentoring by helping design and build the programs to fit their cultures. Ken Merrifield, our International Director, is working with Christians on five continents are seeking CAYM's expertise in mentoring to reach youth and young adults who need the guidance of an older adult who can help them reach toward their God-given potential. CAYM works with leaders in a dozen African Countries to build mentoring program to reach youth and young adults in cities, schools, and rural villages. Andrew Mahame, our Rwandan partner, has been a key collaborator and facilitator to advance mentoring on the continents. Almost every week CAYM receives requests from mentoring leaders for help in starting a mentoring ministry.

CAYM has helped train Christians in Bangladesh, and is currently working with the Lord’s Home Mission in Lahore, Pakistan to help them develop a mentoring ministry with youth in their city. They're goal is to take what they are learning from CAYM and expand mentoring to forty cities throughout their country

Leaders in Peru were the first to seek CAYM's help in developing mentoring in their South America. In cooperation with the Christian Alliance for Orphans, we are now in discussions with leaders in several other countries about starting mentoring with orphans in their communities. We are currently working with a team in Mexico to initiate their mentoring program and to help and improve on the Spanish translations of our materials.
