Workshops: Specialty workshops will be presented both regionally and in conjuction with our annual conference. Such topics as fund development, juvenile justice and executive director brainstorming are but a few of the topics planned.
Background Checks: Today, a thorough background check of prospective mentor volunteers is essential. The CAYM has negotiated with an industry leader to provide member ministries with background verification reports at discounted rates.
Insurance:
Promotional material: Members have access to promotional material originally costing the ministries that produced it many thousands of dollars. For little to no cost, a ministry can have professionally produced material that can either be used generically or customized at minimal cost. Professionally taken "mentor pictures" are available with universal releases.
On-line newsletter: Featuring current mentoring trends and guest articles as well as a Q & A section, all designed to keep you connected with "what's happening".

Conferences: Yearly conferences will be held, at locations that will afford peaceful and private surroundings. Exhibits, panel discussions and noted speakers will be featured. There will be ample time for fellowship. Often, the most useful information is shared just sitting around the pool swapping "war stories".
We are currently speaking with several national insurance companies to develop a comprehensive liability policy that will be available to members at a preferential rate.
Fund raising material: "Toolkits" detailing step-by-step procedures for conducting a "Run for Youth" and "Charity Auction" events are available. Additionally, advice on hosting a successful dinner party for prospective donors is attainable.
