CAYM Statement of Faith

We believe....

Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross and was resurrected on the third day. (Rom 5:8, Luke 24:6-8).
The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God (2Tim 3:16, Duet 4:2, 2 Peter 1:21)
The Holy Trinity consist of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who together form one God in three persons. (Matt 28:19, John 16:15, John 17:5).
Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the Virgin Mary. He was God in the flesh. (John 1:1, Phil. 2:5-7, Col.1:19).
In the person and divinity of The Holy Spirit, who gives us power to be witnesses and dwells in all true believers (Rom 8:9, Rom 8:26-27, Cor 2:12,14)
Man was created in the image of God. (Gen1:26-27)
The Church is composed of all those who confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
In the Great Commission to share with the world the Gospel that we have received. (Matt 28:19-20).
That the Lord Jesus will return. (Acts1:10-11)
